Course Description
Learning to read is about building blocks that starts with the basic sounds of letters which is called phonics. By learning these sounds and how they blend and combine together we can help students understand the foundations behind nearly all words.
At the end of the first 20 lessons students will have learnt and practiced all of the phonics sounds that make up the English language as well as combining them to read sentences.
At the end of the 40 lesson full course students will be able to confidently read passages of text, recognise words that don’t follow the usual phonic rules and be able to read most words without spelling the words out in their heads.
The programme includes live 1:2:1 lessons with our phonics specialist English teachers, access to our learning platform to keep track of progress and interaction with our support team. You will also get access to our interactive homework which helps students practise and reinforce the lessons learnt with the teacher.
